My wife, myself and another couple went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was the best and most amazing trip we have experienced. When James says he is a 5 star chef, he isn't lying! We didn't venture off the resort too much because ALL of his food was so delicious. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The views are terrific. No smoke and mirrors, the pictures actually don't do this place justice. Mike and Steve were also very helpful and we appreciate everything they did for us. We already can't wait to return and have told all of our friends about our terrific experience.
This was such a great experience! James & his wife are awesome hosts- breathtaking views and the food is amazing. The compound and villas are beautiful. Top tier, for sure.
Waterfield Retreat is one of the most amazing places I’ve stayed in Jamaica. Stunning scenery, great location, lovely rooms and good vibes all round. The owners James and De are brilliant and nothing is ever too much trouble, I had the best time with them. The food and service is fantastic and it really is a little piece of heaven at Waterfield Retreat. Whatever the occasion, holiday, wedding, honeymoon or party, Waterfield retreat is the perfect location in Jamaica. Highly recommended and I can’t wait to get back!!
My wife and I went to Waterfield Retreat 3 years ago and let me tell you this place is breathtaking the views are to die for the rooms are clean and comfortable. If anyone wants to visit Waterfield Retreat I am recommending that you do I promise you won't regret it. We love ❤️ this place.
Such a great place to stay. Me and my family booked a stay for my brothers birthday and it was amazing and quiet. Not to mention the amazing view.
James and his wife was also great hosts along with their amazing dogs vibes and cookie!

This place is simple breathtaking....It takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city and allows you to mingle with nature. Its situation on top of a hill just a few minutes out of Montego Bay gives the perfect view of the city out outstretching into the Caribbean Sea, beautiful sunsets and crisps air.....The Waterfiels are super accommodative, entertaining and serves up scrumptious cuisines....My family and I found it a pleasure to have experienced such serenity...
PHENOMENAL! I used waterfield retreats for my birthday December of 2018 and I’ve traveled to many places but the host here made this by far my FAVORITE TRIP ever!!im back on the site to book again lol. All my friends canceled on me last minute besides one friend and it worked out perfectly with just us two. Everytime i eat jamaican food now i want the exact flavors the host cooked up for me. They are a great team together and know everyone around the island for a good time . They are on top of a mountain so not many taxi to catch but the host was willing to take us wherever of course for a affordable fee. Great customer service and again, GREAT FOOD. Coming back
Stayed at Waterfield Retreat for two nights. It was an incredible start to our trip. The view was amazing, worth going just to see this alone! Apart from that James & Dee were incredibly helpful both during our stay and for the remainder of our trip (giving us recommendations on where to eat/ where to stay on the Island). The food was delicious and it is a very peaceful place to stay. Would definitely recommend, especially if you have never been to Jamaica before.
Where do I begin? Let's start with the view. The panoramic view over looking Montego Bay is truly to die for! This picturesque gem had me enthralled upon arrival. It's the escape I never knew I needed. The hosts, James & De, are divine hospitality professionals; I was catered to and made to feel like family. The amenities are impeccable and in accordance with the highest standards. To go is to know; I'll be back Waterfield Retreat!
If you're reading this you've found an absolute GEM and look no further. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and wished we stayed longer here. The whole place is surreal with an incredible view and amenities. James, the Director, was a chef before he became owner of the property and cooks all the meals. We had carrots that he grew on the property that came out of the ground that day! Absolutely delicious! I could go on and on about this place but figured I'd just say book it, you won't be disappointed. The MOVE that made our trip the best was we rented our own car and drove around to different spots around the island. Gave us a real experience seeing the island and complete freedom.
